Night #1 Successful

Posted By Jill on June 30, 2008

Mac did really well last night.  He went to sleep around 8:00 and we didn’t hear him until 5!  Our make-shift bed worked wonderfully.  He didn’t move around very much either - probably because the bed is too soft - so that made things easier for us.  Hopefully we’ll have a crib for tonight, but if not I’m not too worried.

I got up in time to feed Mac before leaving for my first session at 8:30, which was great!  I am always so energized about my work after this conference, and it’s starting already.  I was bummed when I arrived 10 minutes before my next session was to start and it was full - doors closed.  I’ll have to be early to the next one on the topic.  Other than that, things are going very well, and I think Jeremy is liking his relaxation time.

I guess I have to add to my list of things I forgot, though I purposely didn’t bring my collapsible cooler this year in interest of space.  I thought it would be easier to find a cheap styrofoam cooler to use while we’re here, but evidently I was wrong.  I should have brought mine along like I did last year.  Ice doesn’t stay quite as long in a garbage can…
