Mac’s Baptism

Mac was baptized at St. Richard’s on Saturday. We had a beautiful day with the whole family! Jeremy’s dad and Marla traveled from New Mexico, and my parents and Julie’s family drove up from Madison. We had a bar-b-que at Roxi’s before the baptism, went to 5:00 Mass, then met up at Jo’s for a fire, snacks and s’mores. Mac was a good boy most of the day and behaved fairly well in church. He was very good during his parts of the Mass, both for the baptism itself and the blessing with oil and white garment (which we were lucky fit over his big head!). He got pretty cranky in the evening, but we were able to calm him and he ended up falling asleep at Jo’s. Overall it was a wonderful day we got to spend with our entire family.
