Fifteen Weeks

Posted By Jill on May 29, 2008

P1030048It’s been a whirlwind this week, but the kiddo has been a real trooper, and right in the middle of it, he turned 15 weeks old!

New this week: Mac can turn from his back to his belly!  He doesn’t do it often, but he has done it without help and with witnesses.  Keep watch here for the video we caught of him turning over the other day.

Mac continues to grow.  This morning he was 15 pounds on our scale.  He is growing out of more of his clothes too!  He loves to sit up and stand with help, which I’m sure will just continue to increase.

His schedule is pretty much the same, although this week with company and lots of visiting outside of our home, his schedule has been less than consistent.  He has done very well, though, with the exception of a few temper tantrums in the evenings.  He has been able to nap while we’re visiting somewhere else for the most part, thank goodness.  He still likes to play on the floor on his back and can hold his head up for even longer during “tummy time.”

He’s really developing a great personality.  He is very smiley (unless he needs something) and loves to stare at faces.  He has the cutest grin that gets us every time!

He’s growing more interested in his toys, and we’ve started to introduce him to his “blanket friends” in his swing and car seat.  It’s adorable how he cuddles with them, even though we know he isn’t aware of them like we hope he eventually will be.

Look for more posts soon about our week with the family!
