Vivian’s 1-Year Check-Up
Posted By Jill on June 8, 2011
Vivian did very well at her 1-year well-baby check-up. The doctor continues to be impressed with her progress! She measures 30.5 inches long (85th percentile), weighs in at 21 pounds, 6 ounces (55th percentile), and her head is 18 inches around (75th percentile). She is heading right into the toddler stage of growth where her weight is going down and height going up. The doctor still says she’s likely to be tall like her daddy. That wouldn’t be too big of a shock – she’s got very long legs!
Vivian also had her finger pricked to test her blood for lead poisoning (negative) and hemoglobin (it’s normal, she’s not anemic). She didn’t cry for a second at that, but she didn’t like the band-aid on her finger afterwards! She also got three shots. Those she did NOT like!
Mac was a very good boy during her appointment, as always. He got to pick out a sticker, and even wanted to take one for Grandma!
