I’ll Fix It

Tonight when I was reading Mac his bedtime story, he stopped me occasionally and pointed out the moon on different pages. At the last one (a crescent moon), he said, “the moon is broken.” He often describes a crescent moon that way, and I said, “oh no, what should we do?” He promptly, and ever-so-sincerely replied, “we need tape.”
After mumbling a bit more, he said to me, “don’t worry, I’ll fix it.” And had I gone and gotten the kid a roll of tape, I do believe he would have indeed fixed it.
This kid never ceases to amaze and entertain me, and make me smile. I love my little boy.
