I’ve got two more days with both kids on my own under my belt.  Wednesday I even took them both out on errands!  I’m managing to even get some work done.  In addition to what I already knew I would have to work on, we had flooding from a broken toilet into one of our computer labs, so I have to add some repairs and replacements to my already busy summer project list and am behind on some things I was hoping would be finished before the end of school.

Mac was very cute the other day.  He was playing with a wireless receiver for a computer mouse & keyboard that has a button on it.  He walked over to Vivian, who was in her bouncy seat, and pointed out the button to her.  He even tried to put it in her hand and get her fingers to push it.  I was tearing up watching it!  That stuff you just can’t capture on video or film…

Mac is in a bit of withdrawal from all his quality Nana time, but he is adjusting.  We haven’t had any unusual tantrums or outbursts, and he seems to be settling in to our stay-home routine fairly well.  Hopefully soon we can add some outside time, but it’s been too crazy to add that just yet.  I could use some time out of the house too – and in the summer sun!

Vivian is growing but other than that not showing too many other developments at the moment.  She is on a bit more of a consistent schedule of eating and still likes to sleep much of the day with some alert times here and there.  I admittedly haven’t had her doing as much tummy time as I did with Mac, and we certainly haven’t done any video yet.  :(  This kid will never forgive me for how I’ve denied her…  But after looking back at my blog posts of Mac, I am dedicated to rectifying that ASAP!
