In The Neighborhood

Today we enjoyed some of the perks of where we chose to settle our home and the great spring weather! When Mac got home from daycare, all three of us walked a few blocks to the library for items (no, not books, but books-on-CD) I had on reserve. Then we headed back home via the attached park and playground. Mac seemed to be too tired to enjoy the playground, but it’s nice to know it’s right there. It has a couple of baby swings, a few slides, and is in a park where there’s a pond with ducks, picnic tables, and a bigger kid playground too! We were talking on the way home about how great it is to live so close to these things! I have been enjoying our location since school started, but it was nice for Jeremy to start reaping the benefits as well.
I also enjoyed walking to meet some friends at the nearby Houlihan’s after school the other day!
We are all looking forward to summer more and more each day!
