Painting

Today we picked up CJ and after a short stop at the house went to Home Depot to get paint and supplies to start on the bedrooms.
I am admittedly VERY picky about painting, but in the interest of time and gratefulness for the help, I worked on letting go of a little of that today. Timmy came to help as well after he was done teaching swimming lessons. While I worked on most of the trim work, CJ rolled in our bedroom. Timmy worked on getting close to the trim (I would do the rest) and Jeremy rolled in Mac’s room. They all did a great job! The boys left before dinner time, so Jeremy and I finished up after Mac went to sleep. Our room is done except for any touch-ups we notice in the daylight, and Mac’s room needs a second coat tomorrow.
Speaking of Mac, he spent the day with us at the house today. I wasn’t sure how that would go, but he did fine. Time went pretty fast since all I did all day was paint around trim, so it seemed to me like he slept a lot. But in actuality it was a pretty normal day with a couple of very good naps.
At about 10 (I think), Jeremy and I decided to sleep at the house tonight rather than pack up Mac and go to the condo just to shower and sleep. He has some things to do tomorrow afternoon, so we’ll want to get started with the house stuff as early as we can. He ran to the condo to pick up a few necessities while I finished the second coat of trim in our room. We both showered and are getting ready to sleep on a mattress in the living room for tonight!
I did take pictures today, but I don’t have the cable with me to transfer and upload them, so I’ll post them tomorrow.
