Big Boy Tub

Mac finally got a little too long – and too strong – for the little tub we’d been using for his baths. His knees were at the end instead of his feet, and he could almost push himself out if it got his feet in the right spot. We probably could have made it last a little longer, but it was getting tough. I looked for a seat Jo recommended but couldn’t find anything except a little cushion for him to sit on in the big bath tub. He’s still pretty wriggly and doesn’t sit up by himself yet, so we’re in transition right now trying to figure out the best option. Last night Mac took a bath in the “big boy” (real bathroom) tub with the cushion. It was tricky, but it worked. I’m going to keep looking for that seat at Once Upon A Child, because it seems Target and Babies-R-Us don’t sell anything similar. Has anyone seen something like a seat for a bathtub? Or maybe we can make the baby tub last a bit longer if we put it IN the big tub. All suggestions are welcome – comment below!
