Another Week Under Our Belts

It’s Friday now… almost a week since I’ve had quiet time to post. It’s been a busy but great week together!
I uploaded the pictures from the brunch/shower last Sunday to Flickr. We had a lovely time getting to know some more of the Elferings over at Arlene’s house. We also got more very cute clothes for Mac!
Jeremy has been home most of the week, except Monday and today. We really enjoyed our time together with Mac for the most part, but he did have some cranky times. I was able to get out Wednesday to sing for a funeral and work for an hour or so. Mac and I went out Thursday to the grocery store and a visit to Aunt Jo’s daycare to give Jeremy some time to work on our taxes in peace.
Our big news is from Tuesday. I got our video camera hooked up and working with live streaming on uStream.tv. My mom was the only person online at the time, and we were giving Mac some “tummy time” and see if Mom could see him scoot like he does sometimes. Instead, he rolled over! Jeremy missed it the first time but I put Mac back on his tummy and he did it again! Then I pressed record on the camera, and he stopped performing. He did roll in the other direction off the rug, but no more. I’ll get that video posted as soon as I can.
Mac has been sleeping very well this week. We’ve tried to stick to a schedule at least when putting him to bed – a bottle with breast milk and formula at 9:30, then to bed (which is usually by 10:30 at the latest). He has slept anywhere from 4 to almost 7 hours at first, then has varied his going back to sleep after a feeding. Last night was the best so far with him asleep by 10:30 and waking for a feeding at 5, then he was done by 6:30 and rested quietly in his crib while I pumped. Then we both went back to bed at 7 and slept until 9:30!
