Ah… Christmas Vacation Begins!

Christmas gatherings are in full-swing, the playoff hunt is brewing strong (Go Pack Go!), and last night I had the best night’s sleep I can remember having in months. All these can only mean one thing: Christmas Break! It was a long week at work getting things done that I needed to finish before being gone for two weeks, but I’m thankful that I did them. Usually I save some tasks for during break, but this year since we’ll be in Madison for a week, I had to get it all done! I have a couple of days when we get back to do some computer updates that have to be done, but that’s all.
So far: We’ve started the 3rd season of “Lost” and finished 3 discs already. I’ve picked up my knitting again, since I only have a few weeks left and need time for Mom to help me do the finishing touches. I’ve been playing some with some conversion tools for the video I took of CJ & Steph’s Christmas Concert (see below) – this has actually taken lots of time as I learn about some of the web tools from Jeremy in hopes that when Baby comes, whatever camera we get will allow us to post videos of Baby right here!
Coming up: Christmas Eve Mass with the children’s choir at St. Peter’s, more celebrating with the Elferings, Christmas day at Jeremy’s mom’s, then traveling to Madison to celebrate with my family. I also hope to get together with friends there and catch up before Baby makes that trip a little more challenging. We have to bring back lots of Baby stuff from Julie and friends, move some furniture out and start setting up Baby’s space in the condo. We also start our birth and parenting class when we get back and have to attend a couple of classes at church in preparation for baptism. I do have some BT work I’ll need to do remotely to make sure our E-Rate stuff gets done and testing is ready when we return, but that is manageable. I’ll also be working on updating our blogs and such, putzing on the web and playing a bunch with my Mac.
