Easter

Our Easter morning began with Mass at St. Peter’s where I directed the children’s choir again this year.  They sang beautifully and did a great job with their part in the Mass.  It’s a time-intensive but very rewarding job for me!

P1010184We spent the rest of the day at Roxi’s for a bar-b-que with the family.  Jane and Timmy joined us there too, since they stayed in town so Timmy could help out with the altar servers at Visitation.  Begalkes made the trip to Madison to spend Easter with Mom, Dad, Clare and the Maiers’.  We were also joined by the Thomsons and Mary Ann and Fred, so we had a great group to celebrate!  We ate lots (of course) and played games, but mostly we had time to talk and catch up.  It’s been quite a while since we’ve all been together – probably since summer.

It was a terrific day and a much-needed break from work for me.
